Only online applications are acceptable, No need to send offline application.


  • Applications should be submitted ONLINE only; OFFLINE applications will NOT be accepted.
  • There are various Integrated and Under Graduate Programmes available under 7 participating Central Universities (PUs).
  • Eligibility for all integrated and under-graduate programmes is successful completion of 10+2 or equivalent. Candidates who have appeared for the final examinations are eligible to apply.
  • All candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria thoroughly before applying for the course, because, different universities have different eligibility creteria for similar courses. Hence, students would be themselves responsible if they opt for course for which they are not eligible.
  • A candidate can apply upto 3 different Programmes. The fee applicable is given below.
  • However, if you are applying for more than one programme, it must be noted that in case there is a clash of timings of tests for more than one options chosen, the candidate will have to decide which test to appear for. No refund will be admissible on this account. If a candidate pays the examination fee through Offline Challan mode of SBI, the bank charges of INR 50 will be borne by the candidate.
  • Candidates are required to have a valid personal email ID and mobile number. These should be kept active during the entire admission process. The university may send alerts, important communications etc. regarding entrance test. through the registered email ID. Under no circumstances, he/she should share/ mention email ID to/ or of any other person.
  • Communication will be sent through email and SMS(To receive SMS, please ensure that DND(Do Not Disturb) is not activated on your mobile).
  • Candidates should be ready with latest digital photograph of size between 1 KB - 500 KB while applying. The detailed information about this has been given above in the guidelines to upload photograph & signature.

How to Apply

  • Applicants are required to fill in the details asked in the form carefully without making any spelling mistake. On submission of online application successfully, applicants can make the payment for their selected programme by online or offline mode of payment.
  • A candidate may fill the form partially and login again to complete it as early as possible.
  • Candidates will receive SMSs and Email alerts at the time of registration and completing registration.

How to Pay

  • There are two modes by which applicants can make the payment : Offline and Online.
  • For online payment; applicants can pay through Netbanking, Credit Card and Debit Card. After making the payment, system will generate a registration slip. It is mandatory for all applicants to take a print out of this registration slip and keep it with them safely.
  • For offline payment, applicant has to click on "Generate Bank Challan". After clicking, system will generate a SBI challan with auto populated details of applicant. There will be two copies of challan - Applicant's copy and Bank's copy. Applicants are supposed to take a print out of this challan. System will also generate a registration slip and it is mandatory for all applicants to take a print out of this registration slip and keep it safe with them.
  • Applicants now will have to visit any SBI branch along with the printout of the challan to make the payment of the amount mentioned on challan.
  • After making the payment in any SBI branch, applicants are supposed to obtain the Applicant's Copy of the Fee Payment Challan duly received by the Bank with (a) Branch Name & Code Number (b) Transaction ID/Journal No & (c) Date of Deposit filled by the Branch Official. This applicant's copy of SBI bank challan along with bank seal is a very important document for all the applicants and all the applicants are advised to keep it safely.
  • Candidates will have to download the Hall Ticket on after the date specified from website by entering application number & date of birth. Candidates will be intimated about the same by Email/SMS alerts. Intimation or Hall Ticket will NOT be sent by post.

Note :

  • Candidates who have applied for admission to any of the programmes at Sr. No. 1 to 4 above (Languages) will appear for a common question paper (UG-QS-01) consisting of Part A (35 MCQs) and Part B, consisting of 65 MCQs covering aptitude for learning English and other foreign languages.
  • Candidates who have applied for admission to any of the programmes at Sr. No. 5 to 25 above (from science stream) will appear for a common question paper (UG-QS-02) consisting of Part A (35 MCQs) and Part B, consisting of 25 MCQs in each of 4 subjects, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  • Candidates who have applied for admission to any of the programmes at Sr. No. 5 to 25 above (from science stream) will appear for a common question paper (UG-QS-02) consisting of Part A (35 MCQs) and Part B, consisting of 25 MCQs in each of 4 subjects, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Instructions to Candidates appearing for Test on Saturday, 26th April 2014 (UG-QS-01)

  • PART A of the Question Paper consists of 35 multiple choice questions (MCQs) on general awareness, analytical skills, reasoning and language skills. Answer ALL questions.
  • PART B of the Question Paper consists of 65 MCQs to test your aptitude for learning English and other foreign languages relevant to the programmes at Sl. No. 1 to 4. Attempt ALL the questions.
  • You will have 120 minutes to answer both Part A and Part B together.

Instructions to Candidates appearing for Tests on Sunday, the 27th April 2014 (UG-QS-02 and UG-QS-03)

  • PART A of the Question Paper consists of 35 multiple choice questions (MCQs) on general awareness, analytical skills, reasoning and language skills. Answer ALL questions.
  • PART B of the Question Paper consists of 100 MCQs covering 4 subjects, 25 in each subject.
  • In Part B, answer questions from at least three subjects, choosing those you have studied and are relevant to the programmes you have applied for. You may answer questions from all 4 subjects since some of the Central Universities may consider your score in all the four subjects.
  • The results will be announced in a format showing your score in Part A, and in each of the 4 subjects of Part B separately.
  • The university to which you have applied may consider scores in the aggregate or subject-wise with weightage as determined by the concerned University.
  • You will have 150 minutes to answer both Part A and Part B together.
